"Grabe, sobrang gwapo sa personal"
"Napakaputi at napakakinis! Ang ganda kahit walang make-up!"
These are just a few of the common expressions we use when we encounter actors and actresses in person. We admire them while watching their performances, but seeing them face-to-face evokes a different kind of awe. Renowned musicians, girl groups, and boy bands exude an energy that makes their fans leap from their seats and scream with excitement.
Clearly, we willingly offer praise, honor, and glory when we witness someone's greatness up close. Similarly, to truly understand how to give glory to the LORD, we must experience His greatness as witnesses. From Genesis to Revelation, the LORD's majesty is unmistakable. From the splendor of creation to the parting of the Red Sea, and from the miracle of the cross to the glory yet to come, all showcase the wonders of His greatness. But can we truly comprehend the brilliance of His glory?

Bishop Paul helped us grasp the significance of the holy name of the LORD, YHWH. Through his teachings, we learned that the moment He revealed His name to His people, He bestowed upon humanity the greatest gift yet to come. The message "Behold, by grace, the hands were nailed" encapsulated the essence of the LORD's name. This serves as a testament to His magnificence, a message that has resonated since its introduction to humanity.
Alive. Active. Aware.
These are the three descriptors Bishop used to convey the presence of the LORD, emphasizing that He is always present and never absent. He is the God who acts, for He hears, sees, and understands. The creator of the universe, the deliverer of Israel, and the one whom Moses spoke to at the burning bush is the same God we worship today, whose Glory is destined to be revealed in the days ahead.

Truly, the beauty of God surpasses any description, too magnificent for words to capture. It is something that can only be grasped through personal experience. However profound this experience may be, it will never fully convey His Majesty. The individual who could provide the most authentic depiction of this is the one to whom God revealed a glimpse of His glory. This is a person who found favor in God's eyes, so blessed that he requested to see His glory.
Can you guess who this person is? Have you ever sought to experience the glory of God yourself? We invite you to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Shalom, shalom!
