POWERHOUSE WEEKEND PRESENTS: DARK ROOM

EFC Powerhouse held its latest Powerhouse Weekend on November 24, at EFC House of Bread, centering on the topic “Dark Room: Conquering Fears, Traumas, and Anxieties.”

The evening began with an inspiring time of worship led by the Powerhouse Band, setting the atmosphere for a more engaging and transformative session.

During his lecture, Bishop Paul Hernandez highlighted the common triggers of stress and offense, paving the way for a deeper discussion on how these experiences often lead to struggles with trauma and anxiety. He then underscored the significance of open communication with trusted loved ones and of training one’s mind to respond to such things.

Ultimately, he emphasized the foundational truth of trusting God, surrendering everything unto Him, to overcome one’s fear, trauma, and anxiety.

Creating a more dynamic monthly fellowship, another breakout session was held where participants had the chance to reflect on the topic, share their personal experiences, and encourage one another, fostering a sense of community and support among young professionals.
