FREE MISSION PHILIPPINES INC. CELEBRATES 40TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

December 2, Tarlac City - With evangelization, establishment, and expansion of God's kingdom as its focus, FREE Mission Philippines Incorporated (FMPI) celebrated its 40th founding anniversary at Tarlac First Baptist Church, attended by FMPI churches all over the Philippines.

Bp. Paul Hernandez, senior pastor of Evangelical FREE Church and national director of FMPI, headed the processional followed by the speakers, FMPI executive committee and pastors, marking the start of the celebration.

Ps. Mark Boer, senior pastor of Life Church, and Ps. Glen Johnson, founder of Reign Church and chancellor of Faith Christian College joined in on the celebration as guest speakers. Also present at the event were Bp. Rey Santillana of Christian Bishops and Ministers Association of the Philippines (CBMAP), Cong. Ron Salo, and Bp. Leo Alconga of Philippines for Jesus Movement (PJM).

Serving as the highlight of the event was the recognition of the newly installed and veteran pastors of FMPI. Bp. Paul Hernandez and the FMPI executive committee helped in giving tokens to the newly-installed pastors, while Mrs. Lourdes Hernandez, wife of FMPI founder Ps. Ben Hernandez, and her family initiated the recognition for the veteran pastors.

The event ended with the vision casting by Bp. Paul Hernandez, reminding everyone to continue to do the work of fulfilling the Great Commission through evangelization, establishment, and expansion, as the mission focus of the umbrella organization in the years ahead.
