Something stirred my heart when I started listening again to “More Than Able,” a song by Elevation Worship. It reminded me of everything God has done for me—not just this year, but throughout the past several years of my life, especially now that 2025 has come to an end.

In the middle of struggles and busy seasons, we sometimes forget how God has been carrying us from the very beginning. We forget that He is able—that He can do anything. He can change any circumstance in an instant. This song reminded me of the story in the Bible about a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years.
For twelve long years, she suffered. She spent everything she had and sought help from every doctor, yet nothing worked. In fact, her condition only worsened. But when she heard about Jesus, she pushed through the crowd, believing that if she could just touch the edge of His cloak, she would be healed.

And she was. The moment she touched His cloak, her bleeding stopped. Instantly and completely, her body was freed from suffering.
Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment. Matthew 9:22

This story reminds us that God is able—more than able. What we see as impossible is possible for Him. He can restore what we believe is beyond repair. He can heal what has been broken for years. That is the power of Jesus.
As we start this year, may we remember all that God has done in our lives. He has been faithful before, He is faithful now, and He will remain faithful until the end of time. The same God who stopped the bleeding is the same God who is still able to perform miracles in our lives. May we always remind ourselves that God is faithful yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Short Prayer
"Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank you for meeting us wherever we are. Thank you for carrying us and making the impossible possible. Thank You for the healing and restoration. You are more than able. To You, we give all the glory and thanksgiving. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
Reflection Questions:
Where did I see God's faithfulness most clearly this year—even in moments I did not recognize at the time?
What burden, wound, or long-standing struggle am I still holding that God is asking me to release to Him?
What part of my life needs a fresh step of faith—where I must reach out and trust God, even without guarantees?
Share your story below! It might encourage someone who needs it today — and how can we pray for you this week?
