POWERHOUSE UNLIMITED IN FOCUS

Advocating the importance of young professionals in church growth, Ptr. Tony Enciso, EFC Purok Sais Senior Pastor, prayerfully decided to form our young professionals ministry, and since then, we have witnessed the Lord’s favor. I, on the other hand, was tasked to spearhead this ministry along with some of the BenGen P6 leaders and called the ministry EFC P6 Young Professionals Unlimited. Thus, was born, Powerhouse Unlimited, which aims to promote and establish fellowship to all young professionals of Benjamin Generation Purok Sais (Youth Ministry) and for them to be united in the spirit of achieving sustainable financial breakthrough.

Our first fellowship happened on July 23rd of last year, in a coffee shop attended by eight awesome young professionals from our church.

After a month, the first ‘In Real Life’ conference was held in Evangelical FREE Church and we were blessed that all of us were able to attend. The two-day event had significantly shifted our perspective towards the true purpose of this ministry. Through the series of talks from the event’s powerful speakers, God humbled our hearts and renewed our minds with what should be the mission and vision of the ministry.

After the conference, the monthly fellowship that we hold every third Sunday of the month has been consistent up to the present. It is now being attended not only by young professionals but also by soon to be college graduates and working young couples.

Also, EFC Powerhouse leaders graced our church with their presence. We had fellowship together and encouraged us to continue what God is doing in and through the ministry.

Powerhouse Unltd. successfully hosted the couples night event in our church last June 2023 which promoted the ministry to more young couples. Moreover, PowerHouse Unltd. celebrated our first anniversary last July 23, where we commemorated God’s faithfulness. Here, we were able to invite new young professionals as well as those who have been inactive in the church for a long time. We are also now in charge of hosting Worship Service programs every second Sunday of the month in our church.

As we were navigating our ministry and seeing what fits in our context, we had our challenges along the way. We had to reschedule our fellowships based on everyone’s availability. We also thank the Lord for the opportunity to listen to His Word through the live streaming of Powerhouse Weekend.

Although we experienced setbacks and there were plans that didn’t work out, we are still looking forward to greater opportunities that God has in store for us. We believe God will do great things through this ministry. By God’s grace and in His time, we are praying to be able to hold our own Powerhouse Weekend in the near future.
