EFC Powerhouse successfully held its March Powerhouse Weekend, themed “The Good, The Bad, and The Money,” on March 16, 2025, at EFC House of Bread. Aligned with EFC’s monthly theme, this fellowship aimed to equip attendees with biblical principles for handling finances wisely.
The event kicked off with a praise and worship session, setting the atmosphere for learning and spiritual reflection, followed by a fun personality test conducted to help attendees identify their spending habits, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of their financial tendencies.
In his lecture, Bishop Paul Hernandez shared powerful principles on financial discipline. He emphasized the importance of managing earnings wisely, practicing self-control in expenses, and prioritizing eternal value over material wealth.

He also stressed the need to align financial decisions with God’s wisdom and purpose, highlighting responsible spending, strategic saving, and generous giving as essential aspects of financial stewardship.
A key highlight of the evening was the anointing of oil for finances, a humbling act of dedicating financial matters to God. Bishop Paul Hernandez first prayed over Powerhouse Team Leader Ms. Kim Rato, along with mentors Mr. Menjie Bejoc and Mrs. Sarrah Manangan. They, in turn, extended the blessing by praying for the attendees, anointing them with oil as a sign of faith and divine provision.

This Powerhouse Weekend was not just about finances—it was a powerful reminder that true security comes from God. By aligning financial decisions with His wisdom, every young professional can experience not just provision, but a life of stewardship, faith, and purpose.
